Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien is a Championnat National side, which is the third tier of the French football league system.

They are based in Île-de-France region and had signed a partnership agreement with Premier League outfit Southampton earlier in January, to “have a look at the promising young talent in the region”.

The Saints are now set to take advantage of their agreement with the lower division French club by bringing a young talent to England. According to France Football, Allan Tchaptchet will join Southampton.

At the age of 14, Tchaptchet was called up for the France Under-16 side, in September 2016. He was then at Auxere’s academy, which he left last summer. In the 2017/18 season, the teenage defender played for Sannois Saint-Gratien’s Under-17 side.

The report claims the South Coast club are “about to complete” the signing of the 16-year-old central defender. France Football also mentions Southampton’s reputation of developing young talents through their academy.

Tchaptchet will also be hoping that he can follow the footsteps of former Southampton academy graduates to establish himself as a reputed player in the future.
