Announcing he wanted to leave Southampton this summer, Mario Lemina looks like he’s about to find himself a new home at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Already reported on, Nuno Espirito Santos’ side’s interest appears to be confirming itself, as Manu Lonjon, a journalist for Yahoo! Sport in France, claims the deal is in ‘the final straight’.

He also adds the player is ‘very close’ to moving to Molineux, and with just a few days left in the transfer window, it shouldn’t be long before something is announced if all goes to plan.

Wolves’ interest was reported a few days ago by Foot Mercato in France, and after the club ‘accelerated’ the process, things seem to be falling into place.

No fee has been mentioned by any of the French outlets just yet, but considering his desire to go and Southampton seemingly not standing in his way, this could end up being done at a rather decent price for Wolverhampton.

We’ll have to wait and see on that one, however, but it won’t be long before we find out.
