In what would be one of the more exciting transfers of this transfer deadline day, Yacine Brahimi to Everton isn’t moving forward at the pace you’d be expecting it to.
The Algerian winger has been one of Porto’s better players over the past couple of seasons, and some heavy links with Chelsea last season helped his reputation grow.
According to reports in Portugal, the player has even travelled to Liverpool ahead of the proposed move, which could see him move to Goodison Park for up to €40m.
However, Nabil Djellit, a reporter for France Football, had an update on Wednesday afternoon, claiming that as of 1pm French time, there was no agreement between the Portuguese club and Everton for the 26 year old winger.

That doesn’t mean it won’t get done, but it appears that negotiations are still ongoing for a transfer to be completed before 11pm on Wednesday night as teams scramble to get players in.
