Paris United, who have a very good track record on stories relating to the Ligue 1 club, are reporting a big story on Wednesday afternoon.
With talks between Everton and PSG ongoing for the transfer of Idrissa Gueye, there were claims on Tuesday of a new offer going in from the French side.
That led to various stories on Wednesday morning talking the move up and down.
Paris United say that after the meeting held at a hotel in Liverpool on Tuesday, Everton were ready to agree to a deal. However, Marco Silva disagreed with the club, and it’s claimed the Portuguese manager even threatened to resign over the situation.
Silva isn’t interested in the player leaving at all, but Everton are said to have agreed with PSG. That said, Paris United now say there’s disagreement over the terms of payment.
The French club will likely try to spread things out, should a deal end up successful, but right now there’s no common ground with Everton on the payment schedule.
