From France: Manchester United have ‘launched first manoeuvres’ to sign Lyon youngster

Manchester United are trying to get ahead of the competition for the Lyon wonderkid Rayan Cherki, according to claims from France today.

As Foot Mercato brings a big story on the 15-year-old, they say the Red Devils have ‘launched the first manoeuvres’ to sign the teenager.

Since Cherki hasn’t turned 16 yet, he’s still to sign a professional contract. So although Lyon trust the player’s family that he’ll stay at the club, there’s obviously some fear that he could walk somewhere else.
