L’Equipe have taken words from Jurgen Klopp to determine that Liverpool are no longer interested in signing Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer.

The World Cup winner was on the verge of a move to Anfield not so long ago but that collapsed due to disagreements on the final price.

It was at least half expected that Liverpool would return and try to persuade Jean-Michel Aulas again, but L’Equipe are doubting it.

Klopp is quoted as saying: “We have everything we need for next season and I do not think that we will do something more during the transfer window.”

The French newspaper clearly doesn’t think that’s a bluff, and they’re more or less ruling Liverpool out of the race for now.

Chelsea are pulled in again, with it being stated they ‘could come forward’ if Eden Hazard leaves the club this summer.

However, those claims were started by the Catalan media and if that’s all the Chelsea interest is based upon then it’s not very strong.
