France’s Yahoo! have become increasingly involved in transfer reporting in the country, and overnight they published an article saying PSG have agreed a fee with Everton for the transfer of Idrissa Gueye.

The French club have been trying to bring in two defensive minded midfielders during the current transfer window, and Gueye has long been one of the major targets.

Having secured the signing of Leandro Paredes from Zenit, the concentration turned back to the Merseyside club.

On Tuesday evening there were claims from France of a new PSG offer, and presumably that would be what Yahoo! say has been accepted.

Everton will be receiving ‘more than’ €30m plus bonuses, and it’s stated that the schedule of payment is still being sorted out, or at least was at the time of reporting.

Gueye himself has been very keen on the move and didn’t play for Everton on Tuesday night in the Premier League.
