Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain are said to be negotiating the transfer of Neymar this Tuesday afternoon, and according to the latest reports from France, the Catalan side have made a new bid for the player.
Le Parisien claims that Barça are now offering €170m to sign the Brazilian star. Now instead of a loan with an option to buy, the club would be ready to take him on a permanent deal, with the fee to be paid in two instalments.
Paris Saint Germain are still to give a response about this offer, Le Parisien says. It’s club director Leonardo who’s been in charge of the talks, instead of president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
On Barcelona’s behalf, the negotiations are being handled by Eric Abidal, Oscar Grau and Javier Bordas. Pini Zahavi is the agent representing Neymar.
Le Parisien writes a couple of times that PSG ‘still’ haven’t said yes, so they sound a little optimistic the French side may end up accepting a bid soon.
