If RMC Sport are to be believed, and they tend to have a pretty decent track record, Arsenal could have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s transfer sorted out in the coming days.

According to the French outlet, the Gunners and the Gabon international have reached an agreement regarding his personal contract, with the Borussia Dortmund star’s father said to have been in London over the past few days to hold talks with the Premier League side.

However, while that’s all well and good, both Arsenal and the Bundesliga side need to sort out the transfer fee, and that hasn’t been done yet.

RMC Sport explain no total agreement has been reached yet, although “multiple sources” have told that will probably happen ‘in the next two to three days’.

While it’s not as close as Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s transfer, this is very positive news for Arsenal, who look to be edging closer to signing the 28-year-old.

Now to sort something out with Borussia Dortmund, and that’s the trickiest part.
