Nottingham Forest’s pursuit for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo is suddenly all over the Brazilian media.
Following an initial report from the English press regarding the Tricky Trees’ attempt to sign the 21-year-old, many outlets in the South American country managed to confirm that information.
The first of them was UOL, who claimed Nottingham Forest are offering €20m for the signing, also pointing out Palmeiras know there’s the competition from Monaco as well.
TNT Sports’ story is a bit different. They got to know that three European sides made approaches for the player, and only a ‘medium-sized’ club from England are offering €20m. Then they take The Telegraph’s story to show it could be the Reds.
Meanwhile, Lance points out Palmeiras know that Nottingham Forest have joined the race for Danilo’s signing.
It’s said the offer’s figures are something the Brazilian club had been expecting to make business for, and there’s now room to negotiate the percentage of a future transfer. It’s also claimed that the midfielder’s departure from the Verdão is a ‘matter of time’, even though there are no official bids yet.
Finally, ESPN Brasil also shares a story claiming the City Ground side look for a new midfielder and see Danilo ‘with good eyes’.
It’s said Palmeiras want around €20m for Danilo’s side, so in case The Telegraph’s report is to believed, then that offer should be enough to take the player to the Premier League.
