Following our exclusive information on Leicester City’s chase for the Grêmio midfielder Walace, there are a few updates from Brazil that are worth sharing.

According to UOL, there are now four Premeir League clubs who have joined the Foxes in the race. None of the sides were revealed, but they’re all said to have made approaches for the 21-year-old.

The website also claims that Grêmio would ask for around R$45m (£10.5m) for the player, even though sources have already told us that the deal could be done for only £7m.

Grêmio president Romildo Bolzan Junior has told UOL that their plan is to keep the big stars for the Copa Libertadores. This is obviously something that any president would say, so Leicester will need good arguments to convince them to sell.

Walace is currently on vacation, as he celebrates the Copa do Brasil title and prepares himself for the 2017 season.
