Ivan Perisic to Manchester United is back, and it’s mostly the player’s fault.
The Croatian forward, in a recent interview with FourFourTwo, confirmed he’d been very close to signing for the club. He then explained he would be looking for a new adventure at some point in the near future, and we all know how much José Mourinho appreciates what the Inter man has to offer.
Whether that is with Manchester United remains to be seen, as he just said he wants to play in ‘as many big leagues as possible’, mentioning England and Spain specifically, having already featured in the Bundesliga and Serie A.
This would mean his time spent in Germany would automatically put an end to the latest rumour emerging from Italy, as FC Inter News claim Perisic has an offer from Bayern Munich in front of him.
The bid is said to be in the hands of his agent, Fali Ramadani, who is also keeping the ‘road leading to Manchester United’ alive.
The website state Inter will want at least €50m for the 29-year-old, who is having a poor season by his standards so far.
Normally rather prolific, the winger has scored just two goals this season, also assisting teammates twice, in 17 appearances in all competitions.
