Real Sociedad are ‘keeping an eye on’ Leicester City’s Ayoze Perez amid his decision not to sign a new deal with the Foxes.
That’s according to La Razon, who say the Spanish side are keen on the forward should he end up available on a free transfer.
Last month we covered a report from Spain stating that Perez had turned down offers from the Premier League in the summer, despite a desire to leave Leicester City.
Indeed, he is considering tearing up his contract with Brendan Rodgers side so he can become a free agent and return to Spain, perhaps as early as January.
He wants a team in his homeland who will be competing at the right end of the table, and it seems Real Sociedad could be an option.
La Razon say they are ‘attentive’ to the forward’s situation as he will be free to negotiate with sides come January as he’ll be in the last six months of his deal.
Perez has already ‘ruled out renewing’ his contract with Leicester because he wants to return to Spain and play in LaLiga Santander at least once in his career.
La Real will face competition from Real Betis, Celta Vigo and Getafe, who are also in the bidding for the 29-year-old as he eyes a transfer.
