Star Gazetesi report Everton’s Oumar Niasse is very impressed with Trabzonspor’s newly built Akyazı Arena and the club in general and has informed his representative he’ll happy to join the Turkish side.
Trabzonspor officials have reportedly sent a presentation to Niasse, which included some pictures of their new stadium and their plans for the ‘Future Trabzonspor’.
The club yesterday confirmed deals for Emmanuel Mas and Joao Pereira and now their fans are waiting on the announcement for a striker with Everton’s Niasse, Hugo Rodallega and Samuel Eto’o all in the frame.
However, Eto’o seems to be preferring a move to Besiktas, and with Rodallega seen as the last option, Everton’s Niasse is the likeliest candidate for Trabzonspor.
Star Gazetesi also report Everton’s preferred destination for Niasse is China because the Merseyside club think selling Niasse to Chinese club would help them to cut their losses on the player. If a move to China doesn’t happen, then Trabzonspor will emerge as the leading candidate for 26-year old.
Niasse is reported to be convinced about the Trabzonspor project and has told his family he wants to play for them.
Niasse’s family are also keen to move to Turkey, unlike many other foreign players who think playing in Turkey is no longer safe.
Niasse has only played 145 minutes of Premier League football for Everton, with all of those games coming under former manager Roberto Martinez.
The striker is yet to play a single minute for Everton under Ronald Koeman this season and has mainly spent his time training and playing for the Everton U23 team.
