“I just can’t wait to return to Turkey. I missed the country very much.”
These are the words Everton forward Oumar Niasse has told his close friends, according to SabahSpor.
The 27 year old striker has been overlooked by Everton boss Ronald Koeman ever since the Dutchman arrived at Goodison Park, and Fenerbahçe are looking sign the player.
Sabah say Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman is keen to add another striker to his squad after the arrival of Roberto Soldado, as he’s lost confidence in Robin van Persie. Due to a long term injury to Fernando, Fenerbahce are hoping to sign another forward before the deadline, and Everton’s Niasse is an option
Earlier this week we covered reports from Turkey that Niasse had agreed to a move to the Turkish giants, but Everton still needed to allow the transfer. The player looks surplus to requirements at Everton under Koeman, and last season he spent six months on loan with Hull City.
It’s unlikely Koeman will stand in his way leaving Everton, and a move is likely to happen before the deadline.
