Former Watford manager Javi Gracia wants to continue managing England following his dismissal from Vicarage Road.
Watford sacked Gracia at the beginning of September after just four games of the season.
The Hornets elected to change the manager after a run of zero wins in eight league matches, stretching back to last season.
His dismissal came as a shock in some quarters, especially given the Spaniard had led Watford to their highest ever league finish and an FA Cup final last season.
It seems that his quick dismissal has not put him off continuing his time in England, though, with Grada 3 reporting he would like to stay in the Premier League.
They report that Gracia was the preferred candidate for the Espanyol job, after their decision to sack David Gallego.
However, Gracia turned down the chance to attend any interviews for the job as his ‘goal’ is to find himself another job in the Premier League.
It’s not mentioned what time scale the Spaniard is looking at, or if he has any jobs in his viewfinder, just that he wants to stay in England despite disappointment with Watford.
It now remains to be seen if he can get his wish, with him likely to be keeping an eye on proceedings as the season progresses.
