Swansea City are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table, and Bob Bradley has failed to make an instant impact at the club, with things looking like they’ll have to get worse before they get better.
Previous manager Francesco Guidolin was sacked in October, and his assistant Gabriele Ambrosetti left the club with him.
Ambrosetti has been speaking to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, and was asked why Guidolin was sacked by the club. He insists there were many changes at the club due to the change of owners, and that led to Guidolin’s sacking, but they still support the club.
He said: “Swansea? Things have changed at the club. We always support that club, they gave us so much in the past ten months.
He added: “The future? I hope it’s always with Francesco. Football is expanding in many nations like China and America.”
It’s not only Guidolin’s assistant who was impressed by Swansea City, the man himself gave a gushing interview in Italy recently, which may have fans wondering why the club’s owners appointed Bob Bradley in the first place. Guidolin also made sure he sent a big chunk of praise to Gylfi Sigurdsson.
