Never making a first-team appearance for Manchester United, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic’s time at Old Trafford was a bit of a strange one.

Bought for just under £1.5m by the Premier League club, the young goalkeeper was sent back on loan to his club Vojvodina before returning to United in June 2015.

The young goalkeeper then disappeared off the radar, and Sport Witness tried to track him down, asking Vojvodina and then Manchester United for information.

Eventually, it was revealed the goalkeeper had cancelled his contract at Old Trafford after failing to find another club to be loaned at, eventually landing at Lechia Gdansk in Poland.

The player’s agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, gave an interview to Tuttosport about the transfer, and even admitted the former Manchester United youngster can be Torino’s equivalent to Gigi Donnarumma.

This will be Milinkovic-Savic’s first time as a first-team player in one of the top European leagues, and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares.
