Edin Dzeko arrived at Manchester City from VfL Wolfsburg in the January 2011 transfer window. There were big hopes attached to the striker, and whilst he got some criticism during his time in English football, Dzeko was a good signing for Manchester City and helped the club with their progression.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina striker, and also his country’s captain, has been speaking ahead of a World Cup Qualifier against Greece, and was given a set of ten questions to answer from fans.

One of the fans wanted to know who is the best teammate Dzeko has ever had, and the striker picked out a Manchester City player.

Quoted by Bnm, Dzeko explained: “Another difficult question. I played with a lot of good players, but the best is David Silva. I called him a little magician, because he was brilliant with his feet, and he could control every ball that you sent to him. Definitely the best with whom I played.”

High praise from Dzeko, who is currently playing for AS Roma, although there have been rumours in Italy about a possible winter exit. Several clubs are said to be interested in the 30 year old, and it would be no surprise if an English side took a chance on the former Manchester City goalscorer.
