Jose Mourinho is getting it from angles this week.

The European sport media have been ready to criticise Manchester United’s manager for his failure against Sevilla and for afterwards dodging as much of the blame as he possibly could.

There are countless opinion pieces in Spain all explaining just how past-it they feel Mourinho is, and now there’s a new angle of strife.

Adrian Mutu, who worked with Mourinho at Chelsea and, perhaps crucially for these purposes, didn’t get on very well with the manager, has shared some information he’s been given.

It’s that Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t injured, but is actually not playing because he’s fallen out with his manager at Manchester United.

Mutu is quoted by Telekom Sport as saying: “I have information that Ibrahimovic is not injured.”

Romanian journalist Emanuel Rosu adds that Mutu said during the TV show that Ibrahimovic now has a ‘cold’ relationship with Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic hasn’t been involved for Manchester United since the match against Burnley on Boxing Day.
