Marca have been a little calmer than the Catalan sport newspapers during the Coutinho saga.

Not being biased towards Barcelona, or trying to do the club’s transfer work for them, Marca often take a step back and look at the situation without the Catalan fervour.

But now even they are talking up movements on the potential Liverpool transfer. With Barcelona set for one last try, the Spanish newspaper say the club are still dreaming of Coutinho, and Josep Maria Bartomeu is going to try and make it happen.

The Barcelona president will apply ‘force’ to the transfer ‘in the coming hours’, with Marca making it sound like Barca want things moving sooner rather than later.

Despite all of that, Marca believe Jurgen Klopp is standing in the way of Coutinho’s exit.

Whilst the German manager is said to have softened his overall stance on Coutinho leaving, he’s not keen for the Brazilian to go in January, and would prefer to wait until the summer.
