This weekend Leeds United have reportedly tabled a bid for Malmo’s Pawel Cibicki, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United say Fotboll Direkt.
The Championship side are hoping to bring in at least one more forward before the deadline, with claims from Sportbladet Leeds United have offered 15m Krona for the 23 year old (about £1.5m).
Cibicki could be playing his last game for Malmo today when they take on IFK, with rumours he may be on his way to Leeds United.
Earlier today we reported on Napoli’s interest in Cibicki, along with Spanish sides Real Betis and Alaves. According to Fotboll Direkt another club that has also been tracking Cibicki are Manchester United.
The Old Trafford rumours surfaced in May, and were called ‘crazy’ by Aftonbladet.

Manchester United scout in Sweden regularly and it leads to a string of good talents being linked to the club. Right now, Cibicki is one of the best players in Sweden, but it’s probably stretching things to imagine Jose Mourinho signing him.
Leeds United have looked to Swedish players in previous windows, with Pontus Jansson, Marcus Marcus Antonsson, and Modou Barrow all playing for the club in the past 12 months.
Cibicki could be the next Swede to arrive at Elland Road, and Leeds United fans will hope this moves as quickly as Jay-Roy Grot deal.
