Celtic will be proud with the result they got in Bergamo in the Champions League yesterday.

Despite Atalanta dominating and creating a host of chances, Brendan Rodgers’ side managed to hold on. Mario Pasalic hit the post once and had some chances, but Celtic denied him repeatedly.

It was a good response from the side after their 7-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund, and the Hoops’ supporters couldn’t have asked for much better.

While things went well on the pitch, some Celtic supporters didn’t have a good time off the pitch.

TuttoAtalanta note how a flurry of fines were handed out to people who had parked their cars in illegal zones and that is a sign of a big problem that is emerging in Bergamo.

The weather wasn’t great during the game and that is why many fans of both clubs parked cars in illegal zones. The local police had to intervene to sort out the matter too.

Parking around the Gewiss has been a problem in recent weeks and attempts are being made to come up with plans, with fans left annoyed due to the lack of alternative spaces to park.
