Barcelona are ‘fishing’ at Chelsea for signings in the coming months, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan newspaper explains the Blaugrana are looking at César Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Christian Pulisic.
With the first two having contracts expiring in the summer, there’s the option of free transfers, however, it’s made clear Barcelona wouldn’t pay the German international what he’s looking for.
When it comes to the Spaniard, the chance of a January deal is mentioned, and it’s explained the player wants to find prominence so he can make Spain’s World Cup squad.
Pulisic is in a different situation, and Mundo Deportivo say he ‘wants to be an important player’, which is a role he’s not finding right now with Thomas Tuchel.
The 23-year-old has only had 235 minutes of Premier League action so far this season, and whilst that’s partly down to injury, it doesn’t appear like he’s a key player for Tuchel.
Andreas Christensen was also thought to be an option, but the feeling at Barcelona is that he’s on the verge of signing a renewal with Chelsea.
