Over the past few months, Dejan Kulusevski has been continuously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 21-year-old has been restricted to only four starts in all competitions this season and two months ago he stressed the needs to look for a move elsewhere, if his situation at the Serie A side doesn’t improve.

Calciomercato now state there has been a ‘hot axis between London and Turin’ as both the Old Lady and Spurs ‘have been in contact for weeks’, working out the possibility to carry out different operations in the winter market.

The Sweden international first gets a mention and his profile is ‘appreciated’ by the north London club’s chief, Fabio Paratici. It’s claimed Antonio Conte’s side ‘offered Giovani Lo Celso in an equal exchange’, but the Turin club rejected the swap operation.

Juventus have made it clear they will part ways with the forward this month, if they were to receive a ‘cash’ offer of €35m. The idea to include Lo Celso in exchange for Kulusevski didn’t work out and it was Spurs’ ‘first failed attempt’.

Daniel Levy and Paratici will need to improve the offer.
