Brazilian side Flamengo are reportedly keeping an eye on Robert Kenedy’s situation at Chelsea. The 20-year-old, who has just returned from a loan spell at Watford, still hasn’t had his stay confirmed by the club.

The player was sent to the Hornets at the start of the season, and after only fifteen minutes played for the club, he suffered a knee injury from which he still hasn’t recovered.

Now, as explained by Antonio Conte, he must prove himself at Chelsea during the month of January before they decide if he’s staying or being loaned out again.

According to ESPN, Flamengo have already made the first contact for a loan deal, but they consider the transfer to be complicated due to the player’s representatives feeling he could stay in London.

Kenedy signed for Chelsea from Flamengo rivals Fluminense in 2015 for €8m. He managed to make 20 appearances in his first season for the London club, and despite being originally a winger, he was much used as a fullback.
