Galatasaray’s new signing Jean Michael Seri is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Friday morning, and from there he’ll undergo a medical and complete his move.

According to A Spor, Galatasaray will pay €2m to Fulham for a season-long loan deal and Seri will earn €2.5m during his stay in Turkey.

The Turkish giants have moved quickly to snap the player up, initially being enthused by his desire to leave London after Fulham’s relegation to the Championship.

Hurriyet’s Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Kucuk stated Seri told Fulham he wants to play in the Champions League with Galatasaray, and the English club have done their bit to let the transfer happen.

The Turkish giants have also informed the stock market KAP about the Seri’s impending transfer as they confirmed they’re in talks with Fulham and the player with regards to a temporary move. This is common practice for Galatasaray shortly before a move is completed.

Now Seri has his Istanbul airport welcome to look forward to.
