Norwich City star Gabriel Sara is again linked to AS Roma, with the Italian media today talking about this rumour.

Leggo, relayed by ASRomaLive, write that the Giallorossi are indeed keen on bringing the 24-year-old to their squad in the summer.

What sounds like a problem is that Sara may be valued by Transfermarkt at €16m, but Norwich are actually expected to demand between €25m and €30m for his sale.

There’s no guarantee Roma would like to pay that much for the forward, so they’re basically in the ‘let’s wait and see’ stage, as the summer window is just starting.

Featuring for Norwich City this season, Sara had 14 goals and 13 assists in 53 appearances, which is quite an impressive impact for a player who was many times used as a defensive midfielder.

With the player having his second season in the Championship, it must be seen whether he’d push to play in the top flight somewhere next season, as that would be a good factor to play in Roma’s side, even though his contract with the Canaries runs until 2026.
