Earlier today we covered claims from German newspaper Bild that Bayern Munich have submitted official offers to both Manchester City and Leroy Sane for a big summer transfer.
Now Kicker take the story a stage further.
They report that ‘fierce advances’ from the Bundesliga champions are ‘apparently’ set to be ‘crowned with success’ and Bayern Munich will finally get their man.
The transfer is ‘getting closer’ and Sane himself would have ‘finally opted’ to return home to German football.
When it comes to the fee, Kicker believe it ‘should’ be over €100m, and that the player will sign a four or five year contract. That’s not exactly nailing details down.
It feels like despite presenting this as pretty much an agreed deal, they still push over at least a little doubt, and that added in with the lack of any clarity on the details perhaps suggests it’s best to wait for Bild’s Christian Falk, arguably the journalist closest to Bayern Munich, to play his ‘true’ or ‘not true’ game.
