Cenk Tosun’s father Senol Tosun has spoken to Turkish radio station Radyospor and confirmed his son will be staying at Everton, despite being linked with a move away from the Toffees.

Reports in the English media say Tosun has been offered to Crystal Palace as a part of an attempt for Wilfried Zaha, whilst the Turkish press are adamant he’s a target for Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

Senol Tosun confirmed that there’s interest from Turkey for Cenk, but his son is determined to make an impact with Everton: “Galatasaray, Besiktas, Fenerbahce are all interested in Tosun but my son will stay at Everton for next season. He is now preparing for a game against Crystal Palace on Saturday and very relaxed about the transfer situation. He wants to continue at his current club.”

After the arrival of Moise Kean from Juventus Tosun’s chances of getting regular first-team football at Everton are looking very slim, but as it stands it seems the 28 year old will be at Goodison Park at least until the next transfer window.

During the second half of last season the Turkey international hardly figured under Marco Silva, leading to rumours he would move on this summer.
