Fanatik report Trabzonspor fans are pressing hard for the club’s board to make Alexander Sörloth’s move from Crystal Palace permanent.

The Norwegian striker continued his great start to the season for the Norway national team after he scored an injury-time equaliser against Romania on Tuesday night to keep his country’s Euro 2020 hopes alive.

It’s been claimed the Trabzonspor hierarchy are very pleased with the player’s performances since his arrival in the summer and they believe the Crystal Palace loanee could get even better in the next few years.

After failing to make an impact with the Eagles, the 23 year old has produced for Trabzonspor and scored six goals in thirteen appearances for the Super Lig side this season.

Sörloth’s loan contract will expire at the end of June 2021, but the Trabzon club have the option to make it permanent for a transfer fee in the region of €6m.

However, there were reports from Norway last month that the forward extended his contract beyond June 2022 with the Premier League side before he went on loan to the Turkish club.
