After two seasons at the club, Kenedy still hasn’t managed to prove himself at Chelsea. Signed for €8m from Brazilian side Fluminense in 2015, the player has only made 22 appearances for the Blues, most of them out of his original position.

The 21-year-old was even loaned out to Watford at the start of the season, but only played 15 minutes for the Hornets and ended up being called back by Antonio Conte in January.

Kenedy was part of a list published by The Telegraph of players who could be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, something that made Fluminense fans quite excited about a potential return.

As reported by Globo Esporte today, supporters of the Rio de Janeiro club created the hashtag #KenedyNoFlu in order to make the club board aware they want the signing. It quickly made it to the Brazilian trending topics, and ended up receiving the attention they wanted.

But there’s no news of negotiations with Chelsea for the player so far. Globo Esporte actually points out that Fluminense fans have done it before, but none of the attempts were enough to convince the board to make the signings.
