Turkish newspaper Fotomac report Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is waiting for an offer from Besiktas.
Sturridge looks surplus to requirements under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and may need to move on this summer.
According to Fotomac the English striker has had two meetings with Besiktas’ vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi and the player is hoping he can get a move away from Liverpool.
Hasan Eken, who it’s claimed is a representative for Sturridge’s management agency, also spoke to the Turkish newspaper and said: “If certain terms are met and the great Besiktas fans want him to play for the club, then everything is possible.”
Fotomac say a new ‘Come to Besiktas’ campaign is hoped for, as previously carried out for the likes of Alvaro Negredo and Pepe.
Besiktas are keen to bring in a forward this summer to fill the void left when Cenk Tosun moved to Everton in the last window.
A number of attackers have already been linked with a move to Istanbul, and it’s not the first time Liverpool’s Sturridge has had a mention.
