Moise Kean left Everton on loan again in the summer window, this time moving to Juventus on a two year deal, which has an obligation clause at the end.
That clause is worth around €30m to the Premier League club, and there’s a chance Everton could be getting their money sooner than they expected.
Kean had done well during a loan move to PSG, and for a long time it was thought that stay could be extended or made permanent. The French club signing Lionel Messi and failing to get rid of Mauro Icardi meant a move was difficult for the Italian, and he headed back to Juve late in the window.
Since then things haven’t gone according to plan for the 22-year-old, and he’s scored four goals in 821 Serie A minutes. Those minutes have become harder to come by in recent weeks, and there’s much talk of a quick exit.
JuveDipendenza say the Everton owned player has been ‘extremely disappointing’ since his return to Italian football. Juventus now ‘need to sell’ the player so they can fund a move for another striker to support Dusan Vlahovic.
Should Juventus want to sell Kean this summer then they’ll first have to bring forward the purchase from Everton. However, the big question is who they can find to buy the striker.
Thankfully, there’s no mention of Juventus trying to get out of the buying clause they have with Everton.
