Brøndby’s impending sale of Clement Bischoff to Brighton and Hove Albion is ‘insanely nice’ for the club and a deal that ultimately suits all parties.

That’s according to Tipsbladet ‘expert’ David Boysen, who believes everyone can be happy with the defender’s impending move to the Premier League.

A report earlier today stated that Brighton are in the final stages of closing an €8m deal with Brøndby for the left-back, who is set to remain with his current club until the summer.

The two club were working on the final parts of the deal, with Bischoff already agreeing a deal with Brighton until 2030.

The 19-year-old will united with fellow Danes Matt O’Riley and Yankuba Minteh at the club and become the latest in an ever-growing list of youngsters to be scooped up by Brighton in recent years.

It’s a big step up for the youngster, who has established himself as a key player in Brøndby’s first team since stepping up from their U19 team at the beginning of 2024.

The deal for him equals b Brøndby’s club record sale, which was previously set by Daniel Agger’s move to Liverpool, and Boysen believes everyone can be happy.

“He is one of the players who has the greatest potential, but they not only buy him on the potential – of course that is part of it,” he said.

“He has already come on the board with goals and assists, and he has been a crucial player for Brøndby. It’s impressive in such a short time.

“I think it is a good purchase of Brighton that would like to play offensively, and it fits Bischoff well in. I would also like to say congratulations to Brøndby, who makes a sale that you are used to seeing in North Zealand, Central Jutland And FCK.

“It may be the starting point for Brøndby to get more money for their players, as you see in North Zealand as well. They sell for more because their players succeed when they are sold. I think it’s a good sale of Brøndby, says David Boysen, who explains:

“It’s a lot of money for a young player and a player who doesn’t have more matches on the resume. I think it’s an insanely nice sale, so congratulations to Brøndby.”
