Celta Vigo are expecting offers from the Premier League for midfielder Okay Yokuslu when his loan deal with West Bromwich Albion expires in the summer.
The Turkish midfielder has been on loan at West Brom since January when he was brought in by Sam Allardyce to aid their battle against relegation.
He’s been a regular for the Baggies since and impressed too, establishing himself as one of their key players in the second half of the campaign.
They are keen to keep him permanently, but West Brom’s failure to agree to a purchase option, and the fact they are on the brink of relegation, makes that very difficult.
Allardyce has admitted as much but, according to El Desmarque, is aware the midfielder has ‘a great poster’ in England after impressing for the Baggies.
This is something that they are also aware of at Celta Vigo, where ‘it is expected’ that teams in the Premier League ‘will be interested’ in Yokuslu’s signature.
Indeed, they and the player ‘long for’ a transfer to happen this summer, and there is a hope that he can impress at the European Championships and drive up his value some more.
That would only further push him away from West Brom, who, unfortunately, look likely to miss out on a permanent deal this summer.
