As Victor Lindelof struggles to have playing time at Manchester United this season, at least partly due to fitness issues, he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.
According to Turkish outlet Aspor, Galatasaray are thinking of signing the 28-year-old as soon as the winter market opens.
The story claims Lindelof is ‘expected to leave Manchester United’, and the Super Lig club’s plan is to land him on a loan deal.
The Swedish player is said to be seen as an alternative to Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson, who’s said to be ‘on the list of many clubs’, ‘especially Sevilla’, and could be sold in the January transfer window.
Aspor claim Lindelof has a market value of €18m, and they actually don’t make it clear whether the Red Devils would be on board with a loan operation.
With the likes of Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire to compete with, Lindelof has also struggled with fitness so far this season, and even when fully fit, was just an option on the bench.
His only appearance of the season so far for Manchester United was in the 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad.
