Appearing very sporadically for Juventus last season, Mario Lemina seemed to be one of the players the Serie A club might be willing to sell this summer, yet the Gabon international remains in Turin for now.
Linked with at least four different Premier League clubs (Watford, Everton, Arsenal and West Ham off the top of our heads) already as well as Valencia in Spain, it’s the latter of the English sides that Gazzetta dello Sport focus on on Friday in their print edition.
The Italian newspaper, looking at some of the work Juventus could still do on the transfer market, explain it’s West Ham, out of all the aforementioned teams, who have come forward lately with the most interest.
However, despite the constant exit links, Sport Witness understands that, as things stand, there has been no real progress regarding Lemina’s exit from the Serie A champions, whether it be with West Ham or any of the other clubs.
Patience is key in the transfer window, and with just under a month left before it shuts, there’s still plenty of time to get something done.
