Calciomercato seem to be getting themselves excited over a potential AC Milan swoop for Mousa Dembele.

Milan are having all kinds of problems after a summer of spending which gave good reason for optimism. Just about everything which can be going wrong is going wrong, and it will hurt even more at a time when Inter Milan seem to be finally getting it together.

Things could change very quickly, as they often have in Milan, and new targets are being formulated, with one of them being Mousa Dembele. Calciomercato state ‘the devil is at the window’ explaining the Belgium international is now a transfer option for Milan.

What is giving reason for optimism is Dembele’s Tottenham contract situation. Calciomercato believe the midfielder could be a value signing next summer, when he’ll only have a year left on his Tottenham contract.

At that time, contract terms would be ‘too inviting’ believe the Italian media outlet, making it sound strangely easy to get a player from Tottenham.

A lot will depend on how Mauricio Pochettino sees Dembele in his plans at Spurs, and even if he thinks the player isn’t needed, Milan can be sure Daniel Levy won’t be too generous in any transfer talks.
