Celtic defender Josip Juranovic has shared his delight with how things are working out for him in Scotland.

The right-back arrived at Celtic in a £2.7m deal from Legia Warszawa in the summer as they looked to strengthen in that position.

The move is undoubtedly the biggest of his career so far, having developed at NK Dubrava ZG, then moved to Hajduk Split before a move to Warszawa in July 2020.

His performances there earned him his move to Celtic, and he’s been a regular for them so far this season, with 11 appearances in all competitions and two assists to his name so far.

At the moment, he’s looking like something of a bargain, and things are certainly working out how he and Celtic will have hoped.

And that is certainly how he feels, sharing his delight with how things are going to HRT in his homeland.

“I went to Celtic at the right time; everything worked out for me,” he said in a recent press conference.

“I went from Legia to a big club, and I am happy with Celtic. I’ve been with Borna (Barišić) once since I came.

“People recognize me, but when Rangers fans see me, they start shouting “Glasgow Rangers”, but it’s all football.”
