Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru was the star of the show at the weekend as Galatasaray coasted past Ankaragucu in their first league game of 2019.

The Everton youngster was deadly in front of goal, scoring a hat trick to become the second top scorer in the Super Lig this season.

His performances have been praised by Turkish media after Star reported Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim wants to see Onyekuru in his team beyond this season.

Star report the Everton attacker is also keen to continue his career at Galatasaray and he’s waiting for the Istanbul club to get an agreement with the Toffees.

However, the Turkish newspaper also claim there are clubs in Europe showing interest in Onyekuru with Bayern Munich and PSG still being linked with the 21 year old.

Due to work permit issues Onyekuru has yet to make his debut for Everton but this could change due to becoming a regular in the Nigeria national squad.

Not only that, his achievements in Turkey will help persuade the panel.

Onyekuru has long been vocal about his desire to play for Everton in the Premier League, and whilst he may be keen on Gala, that’s likely to change if his dream can be become a reality.
