Of the numerous players to leave Everton this summer, one who is yet to finalise his departure is Henry Onyekuru.

The winger joined the Blues in 2017 but has spent the last two seasons out on loan as Anderlecht and Galatasaray after failing to secure a work permit.

There is seemingly no interest in him at Goodison Park, and throughout this summer it has become apparent that Everton would either loan him out or sell him permanently.

The latter is now on the cards, with Monaco the club pushing hardest for him. We covered a report last week that work permit issues were delaying his move to the Stade Louis II.

Those appear to have been dealt with, as L’Equipe report today that they have now secured a work-permit for Onyekuru and he has agreed on a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 side. The move will be completed once he’s undergone a medical.

Monaco will pay €13.5m plus €1.5m for the Nigeria international, netting Everton a small profit on a player who has never played for the club.
