Juventus need to get some sales through quickly, report Tuttosport on Friday. The Turin newspaper explains that before Juve go fully into the market, they could do with getting some money in quickly.
Not a poor club, indeed quite the opposite, Juventus often appear to be pleading poverty and it seems to help them get good deals.
One of the men identified for the exit door is Stefano Sturaro. Juve were reluctant to sell last summer and in the winter window, because Sturaro is a very useful squad player. Primarily a midfielder, the 25 year old has performed in several positions for Juventus and his versatility is seen as important.
Tutosport state: ‘There are at least two English clubs – rumoured Everton and West Ham – ready to re-launch for Stefano Sturaro.’
Both clubs have previously been linked with the player and interest remaining would be no surprise, despite the changes at both Goodison Park and London Stadium.
Juventus would give the nod to a deal once it reached €20m plus bonuses, but in reality Everton, West Ham, and anyone else interested may be able to get Sturaro for a little less.
The player himself is said to be tempted by the physical football of the Premier League.
