Italian website Inter Live today brings an interesting story explaining the situation of Roberto Gagliardini at the Nerazzurri.
The outlet claims that two Premier League clubs are currently interested in the player: Everton and West Ham.
They don’t have much detail on efforts from these sides, only claiming that they are two ‘rich’ clubs who are looking for new signings, with Gagliardini being on both club’s lists.
The most interesting thing about these claims is that Inter Milan recently received an offer for Gagliardini, which Inter Live believes came from England.
It’s said Inter were the recipients of a €25m bid, but ended up rejecting it. Although the player isn’t a frequent starter in the team, they feel like there would be problems finding a replacement at such a stage of the January transfer window, which would indicate the offer was made very recently.
Signed from Atalanta on a €20m deal in 2017, Gagliardini has 11 appearances for Inter this season. He recently renewed his contract with Inter, and is now protected with a deal until 2023.
