It won’t come as a surprise to you since we’ve already covered it numerous times in the past, but Carlo Ancelotti really likes Denis Bouanga at Saint-Etienne.
Back in early July, we covered an article from But! Football Club claiming the Italian was ‘campaigning’ for the Gabon international’s signature at Everton, and the rumours continue to pop out now and then.
They’re likely to do so even more now the Premier League season is over, which is perhaps why the Goodison Park club could be about to take action in the next couple of days.
That’s what French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter is reporting on Monday, claiming that European teams have returned for Bouanga ‘over the past 48 hours’ and are ‘on the verge of making offers’, naming Valencia, Real Betis, Everton and and a still anonymous Ligue 1 club as those likely to ‘attack’.
Saint-Etienne, down their end, still want to be ‘inflexible’ when it comes to allowing last summer’s signing to leave, but we all know money talks, especially when French clubs that aren’t called Paris Saint-Germain are involved.
Sainté est très solide sur le dossier Fofana.
Sainté désire tjrs rester inflexible au sujet de Denis Bouanga ms depuis 48H, des écuries européennes reviennent à la charge & st sur le point de formuler des offres…
