Fanatik report Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is looking to keep Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru despite recent claims the Toffees will not loan him to the Istanbul club next season.
The Everton loanee’s influence at Galatasaray has become more apparent in the final weeks of the season and he was yet again on the scoresheet last weekend during his side’s title clash against Besiktas.
The 21 year old has now scored 15 goals for the Turkish club in the league this season and Fanatik report Terim has been impressed with Onyekuru’s performances.
It’s reported that if Onyekuru isn’t granted a work permit to play in England then Galatasaray will do everything they can to get the Nigerian international for another season.
According to Fanatik, Terim is constantly talking with the club’s board about keeping the youngster and it’s looking likely the Super Lig club will hold talks with Everton at the end of the season.
However, competition for Onyekuru will likely to be tough for Gala if Everton decide against keeping him for next season, with the likes Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich said to be interested.
