Everton striker Cenk Tosun has ruled out a return to Turkey and insisted he deserves more chances at Goodison Park.
The Turkish striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Merseyside this month, with several clubs all thought to be keen on him.
Crystal Palace, where he spent time on loan last season, and West Bromwich Albion are believed to have shown interest in England while Schalke and Hertha Berlin are options in Germany.
Besiktas are also keen on a reunion, with their president Ahmet Nur Çebi stating last month that he would like to bring the striker back to the club.
Any move would be dependent on Everton, though, with a report earlier this week stating they would like to keep Tosun around, presumably because he’s their only cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Whether that remains the case in light of a bid remains to be seen, but Tosun has criticised Everton in the meantime, saying he believes he should be getting more chances to impress.
“I do not think my mission in Europe is fulfilled. I want to take further steps. I’m not done in Europe,” he told Tivubu Spor, relayed by Yenicag.
“I have no intention of returning to Turkey. I need to get more first-team chances. I will make a decision in 2-3 weeks.
“We have Calvert-Lewin in the squad, my transfer depends on the club. Ancelotti said he trusts me a lot.
“If I don’t get the chance to play in the next 2-3 weeks, I will make my own way. I do my best in training.
“I am useful to the team in the National Team; here again, I find less chances to play. I don’t think I got the chance to get the form that I deserve.”
