There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Everton are showing interest in Galatasaray attacker Yunus Akgün.
The Toffees will be looking to bolster their squad in the January transfer window and the Turkey international has emerged as a target.
Takvim today report on Everton’s pursuit for the 24-year-old, and they say the Premier League side are ready to knock on the door to sign the Galatasaray player. It’s claimed the Merseyside club are lining up an offer for Akgün and are ready to make their move during the window.
There are no reports about what sort of offer Everton will come in with, but after his impressive performances this season Galatasaray will be expecting significant bids from any clubs interested in signing the winger.
Akgün has experience player in England following his loan spell with Leicester City last season, during which made 29 appearances for the Foxes.
He’s played 13 games for Galatasaray this season, scoring two goals. The player is contracted to Cimbom until June 2026 and came through their youth system.
