Turkish side Fenerbahce are reportedly in talks with Everton for the transfer of the Belgian attacker Kevin Mirallas. According to Hurriyet, the clubs are already negotiating the player and Fenerbahce hope to get a deal as soon as possible.

Currently in fourth place in the league, the Turkish side are having a difficult season and want to show the fans they’re sorting things out before the summer.

The website claims Fenerbahce are close to find an agreement in principle with Everton and they will soon be able to sit with the player and offer him a contract. Mirallas’ contract with Everton will be expiring next year. He currently has four goals and four assists in 26 appearances this season.

Hurriyet does not mention how much would Fenerbahce pay for the player, but claim that the story could have a happy ending very soon.

Fenerbahce are likely to have a shock when they contact Everton. Either being told Mirallas is going nowhere, and being presented with a fee far higher than what they hoped for.
