Everton remain in the picture for Adnan Januzaj but are waiting to sell Anthony Gordon to Chelsea before making an offer.
That’s according to AS, who say Los Angeles Galaxy have also entered the picture for the Belgian’s signature.
They explain that Januzaj is still available on a free transfer after finishing his contract with Real Sociedad at the end of last season.
At this moment in time, his future ‘remains undecided’ but there are offers on the table, most recently from LA Galaxy. They have ‘entered with force’ into the bidding and asked about the player’s availability.
The player has also had ‘very interesting offers’ from the Premier League, where Everton and West Ham have the ‘most options’ to secure his signature.
According to the newspaper, the Blues remain keen, but Frank Lampard’s side are ‘waiting for a sale’ to Chelsea before they make an offer to Januzaj.
They may need to move quickly, though, as LA Galaxy are ‘willing to go all out’ to get ahead of the competition in Europe.
They think the Belgian would be the icing on the cake after signing Riqui Puig.
Whether that will push Everton to up their efforts remains to be seen, but it seems they are still in the picture, nonetheless.
